TA Dental Care, formerly known as Oxford Street Dental, has proudly served the Wellingborough community for over 70 years. With roots dating back to the 1950s, the practice has earned the trust of generations of local families by providing high-quality, compassionate dental care, becoming one of Wellingborough’s longest-established dental practices.
For many years, the practice was owned and led by Dr Maguire, who built a strong reputation for friendly, patient-centred dentistry. Under his leadership, Oxford Street Dental became a familiar and trusted name within the local community, caring for generations of patients with dedication and professionalism.
In 2022, the practice entered a new chapter under the ownership of Dr Annad, who continued the tradition of delivering exceptional dental care while introducing improvements to both clinical services and the overall patient experience. Between 2022 and 2026, the practice continued to welcome both existing and new patients, maintaining its long-standing commitment to excellence.
A New Chapter for TA Dental Care
In June 2026, Dr Tooba Zafar acquired the practice, marking the beginning of an exciting new era. Renamed TA Dental Care, the practice embarked on a significant investment programme focused on modernising the facilities while preserving the values and heritage that patients have come to trust.
A comprehensive refurbishment has transformed the practice, with beautifully modern treatment rooms, state-of-the-art dental equipment, upgraded patient facilities, and a fresh contemporary interior. These improvements have created a comfortable, welcoming environment that reflects our commitment to providing the highest standards of care while maintaining our long-standing place at the heart of the Wellingborough community.
Today, under the leadership of Dr Tooba Zafar, TA Dental Care proudly combines more than seven decades of trusted heritage with the latest advances in modern dentistry. Our experienced team remains dedicated to delivering exceptional, personalised dental care in a friendly and professional environment for patients of all ages.
